About Me

/hɛ’ləʊ/ folks,

I’m Anvitaa Marfatia. Born and brought up in the city of Mumbai, the majestic city of dreams, where everyone doesn’t want to just walk but wants to fly. I followed my dream and my passion, which led me to graduating in Bachelor’s of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP), AYJNIHH, Mumbai in 2016. Looking back at my last 4 years ,full of compassion, relentless hardwork, education & passion, I am proud to go by the name, Anvitaa Marfatia, BASLP. My passion however, compels me to not stop here and add more feathers to my hat.
Being a part of this magical and promising field over the last 4 years, has taught me a great deal and I feel the need to learn more cause like they say, anyone who claims to know everything, truly knows nothing. I aspire to do my masters in the Speech-Language Pathology and have found myself inclined towards Adult Speech-Language Pathology and Dysphagia.
Writing is one of my mediums to communicate to the masses, about the field of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. It is said that, “Communication is the key to success”,  and what gets better than helping other individuals communicate, thereby, being a part of their success.
Over the past 4 years, I have come across a lot of misconceptions, lack of knowledge about this field. I would like to share some of my experiences, educate others about the field, be it students, patients, care takers or just a curious on-looker. Other suggestions and ideas are always welcomed. 🙂
You can contact and connect with me via Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or simply drop a message at my blog post.
I hope you take some valuable information for yourself from this.
“Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.”- Aristotle.
